SRC Industrial Corp. Opens New Springfield Facility and Celebrates Economic and Job Growth

SRC Industrial Corp., a subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corp. and a leading manufacturer of new and remanufactured industrial power generation equipment, welcomed employee-owners and their families to an open house on Thursday, December 18, at the company’s new facility at 2801 North Mulroy Road in Springfield. The event offered an inside look at SRC Industrial’s new home as the company prepares to ramp up production heading into 2026.

“This celebration marks an exciting new chapter for SRC Industrial and our employee-owners,” said Spencer Cunningham, President of SRC Industrial. “Bringing our teams together on one campus increases our capacity, streamlines operations, and creates the space we need to grow with our customers—all while strengthening SRC’s legacy of employee ownership and open-book management.”

During the event, guests toured production and warehouse areas, explored SRC Industrial’s product offerings, visited the workspaces of family members, and enjoyed food and family-friendly activities.

The Mulroy Road facility represents a key component of SRC Holdings Corp.’s decade-long investment strategy to expand its manufacturing and remanufacturing footprint in the Springfield region. SRC has invested approximately $19 million in the 200,000-square-foot building, which consolidates SRC Industrial’s operations under one roof. The facility features expanded manufacturing space, large dyno-testing rooms, a panel shop, a disassembly area, and extensive warehouse, office, and meeting space.

This investment underscores SRC’s commitment to both remanufacturing excellence and new product manufacturing. SRC Industrial’s growth is expected to support the creation of more than 200 new jobs in the Springfield area over the next five years.
