Employee-Owners of SRC take Top Spot in United Way Campaign Giving

The employee-owners of SRC Holdings Corp. have been recognized as the largest workplace contributor to the United Way of the Ozarks 2023 Campaign. The recognition comes as a result of associates’ ongoing commitment to giving and leadership in the community.

United Way of the Ozarks is a nonprofit organization that focuses on improving the lives of individuals and families in communities around the world. It brings together donors, volunteers, and community partners to help solve some of the most pressing challenges facing society today.

For nearly two decades, SRC has been a top-ranking contributor to United Way and reached the top spot this year as a result of a 20% increase in giving by associates. SRC employee-owners have been the driving force behind this achievement, with many of them generously donating their time and resources to support United Way's mission.

The campaign at SRC, spearheaded by Mike White, President of SRC Logistics and a United Way Board Member, was made possible by the dedication of the volunteer campaign managers at each SRC Company:

  • Tyler Hesser, Springfield Remanufacturing Corp.

  • Leah Lee, SRC Automotive

  • Carol Rummel, SRC Logistics

  • Erin Malone, SRC Electrical & Ceramex

  • Amy Hoffmeister, NewStream Enterprises

  • LaCinda Young, Global Recovery Corp.

  • Kim Brown, The Great Game of Business

  • Chris King, CNH Reman

  • Aspen White, SRC Holdings

“Our associates have always taken ownership over the issues we face as a community,” said Mike White. “They are also a very competitive group. We are proud to be the #1 campaign for United Way of the Ozarks and will be looking to retain this title next year.”

In addition to this giving, the employee-owners of SRC lead its Community Relations Committee which meets regularly to distribute funds to the community and coordinate countless volunteer efforts across the Ozarks.
